Historian | Writer | Edtior
John T. Landry is a business historian who has written commissioned histories of many companies and institutions. He understands how companies work and is adept at taking a great deal of detail and crafting an engaging narrative of corporate development. Instead of a loose stringing together of facts and events, he can present a story of change that draws readers in.
He has experience with a variety of media, from blogs to books. He has worked with people from around the world, from Europe to Asia to Latin America. He also understands the commercial side of publishing from his work on syndication.

Commissioned Histories & Memoirs
Are you looking to learn from your organization’s history and make it a resource for strengthening the organization internally and externally? Histories can reveal an authentic purpose or mission to engage and energize employees. Landry sees himself as teller of stories from the past with resonance today. He believes an organization’s history can make sense of its current activities, strategies, and structures, and where it can go in the future.
Editing & Writing
The ideal editing/ghostwriting client is an academic, consultant, or executive with a strong idea to convey to a non-technical audience, but who lacks the time or skill to write it out in a convincing way. Landry collaborates with clients to get a better understanding of their idea and to develop a persuasive account for their intended audience and publisher. He works as both an editor and a co-developer of business and management ideas.
